The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority is a non-profit organization created in 1977 by the Kanawha County Commission under the Emergency Services Act of 1975.

KCEAA employs EMTs, Paramedics, Nurses and support staff providing Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We have 40 licensed ambulances operating out of 14 stations throughout the Kanawha Valley. We answer approximately 69,000 requests and transported approximately 62,000 patients. Our response time is 8 minutes 90 percent of the time.
